Job Summary
The Anatomy Lab Assistant will provide guidance and instruction in the cadaver laboratory to year 1 PA students under the direct supervision of the PA Program Anatomist, who directs the Gross Anatomy course.
This position is grant-funded; employment is contingent upon the continued availability of those funds.
Essential Functions
- Provide student guidance and instruction in the cadaver laboratory, as instructed by the course director (PA Program Anatomist)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Medical, Health Science, Anatomy
- Prior completion of human gross anatomy dissection is required
Preferred Qualifications
- -Master's degree in relevant are of instruction (e.g., physician assistant studies, physical therapy, pathology, etc.) -Prior teaching experience -Dissection skills
Physical Demands
- Typically sitting at a desk/table
- Typically standing, walking
- Lifting demands ≤ 25lbs

Additional Information
This is a Part-Time per diem position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
