Learning Ladders ABA is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) to provide individualized, in-home ABA services to a child in Chester, Virginia.
This opportunity is ideal for an ABA professional who is patient, confident in managing challenging behaviors, and passionate about helping children develop meaningful skills.
📍 Position Details
🏡 Location: Chester, VA
🕒 Schedule: Monday–Wednesday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM or 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
📅 Hours: Approximately 15–18 hours per week
💼 Setting: In-Home ABA Therapy
🐾 Home Environment: Must be comfortable around a large Siberian Husky

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous ABA therapy experience required
- Experience working with children
- RBT certification preferred
- Experience supporting children with challenging behaviors, including yelling, emotional outbursts, and difficulty tolerating denied access or unexpected changes
- Must be comfortable working in a home with a Siberian Husky
- Patient, dependable, professional, and compassionate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized ABA therapy under BCBA supervision
- Implement behavior intervention strategies to support emotional regulation, flexibility, and appropriate communication
- Assist the client in developing replacement behaviors and coping skills
- Collect accurate behavioral data and maintain session documentation
- Collaborate with the BCBA and family to support consistent implementation of treatment strategies
