Ideal for a qualified Fitter and Turner, Toolmaker or Machinist, this hands-on role combines technical manufacturing expertise with workshop and stores management.

We are looking for a proactive self-starter who can think on their feet, solve technical problems and work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include machining and fabrication, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, inventory management, procurement, and coordinating equipment preparation and dispatch to operational sites.

You will bring strong manufacturing skills, sound problem-solving abilities and excellent organisational skills, with a commitment to safety, quality and teamwork. If you enjoy taking ownership, finding practical solutions and applying your trade expertise to support innovative research, we encourage you to apply.
