About the role

Warehouse and Parts Runner

At Jackson Comfort, we’re more than just an HVAC company—we’re a team that takes pride in doing things the right way. We’re looking for a dependable, organized Warehouse and Parts Runner to ensure our field teams have the tools, parts, and equipment they need to deliver exceptional service.

In this hands-on role, you’ll help manage inventory, prepare materials for upcoming jobs, deliver supplies to job sites, and coordinate returns for unused or warranty-covered items. Your work will keep our warehouse organized and our technicians equipped to get the job done right. If you’re detail-oriented, enjoy staying active, and take pride in supporting a team, we’d love to meet you!

Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation: $17/hour with weekly pay!
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Company-paid life and disability insurance
  • Paid training and professional development
  • Opportunities for career growth and advancement

What You’ll Do

  • Receive deliveries, verify materials against orders, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Organize and stock warehouse shelves to keep materials clean, accessible, and properly labeled.
  • Pick, prepare, and stage parts, equipment, and materials for upcoming service and installation jobs.
  • Deliver supplies to job sites safely and on schedule, ensuring field teams have what they need.
  • Process returns for unused materials, defective products, and warranty-covered parts or equipment.
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies, damaged items, and supply needs to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Restock service vans and installation kits based on replenishment needs.
  • Assist with inventory counts, reconciliation, and identifying slow-moving or obsolete materials.
  • Coordinate with procurement and field teams on large projects, equipment tracking, and material needs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and surrounding work areas.
  • Keep assigned delivery vehicles clean, fueled, and properly maintained.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and inventory updates accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, customer experience, service, sales, and installation teams to support daily operations.
  • Follow company safety procedures and represent Jackson Comfort professionally with coworkers, technicians, and customers.

What We’re Looking For

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Previous warehouse, inventory, delivery, or material-handling experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or electrical parts is a plus; training can be provided.
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use mobile apps or inventory tracking systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, work independently, and collaborate effectively with a team.
  • A dependable, responsible, and team-oriented attitude with a willingness to take initiative.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as needed.
  • Forklift or material-handling experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ServiceTitan or other inventory management systems is helpful.

Work Environment

  • Hands-on, warehouse and field-based role with frequent lifting, carrying, and driving.
  • Fast-paced environment requiring physical stamina, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.
  • Schedule may include early mornings or occasional late deliveries based on business needs.
