Over the last 40+ years we have grown into one of the leading mechanical service providers in our region. Our specialties include HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Drain Cleaning, Environmental and Vacuum Truck Services, Emergency Underground Repairs, as well as Septic Pumping and Lift Stations. With locations in both Vineland and Cranbury, we are well positioned to provide 24/7 mechanical services to all of New Jersey, as well as Eastern Pennsylvania, and Northern Delaware. Our customers include a wide variety of building owners, contractors, industrial production facilities, commercial enterprises, municipal and government entities, and property managers. POSITION OVERVIEW
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator / Shop Technician is responsible for warehouse and property organization and upkeep, equipment and material in-flows and out-flows, accurate receiving and verification of materials, mobilization of equipment, and basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance. The role supports efficient company operations through material handling & disposition, inventory coordination, deliveries, and equipment readiness.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and label material deliveries and stage them in appropriate areas
- Maintain the cleanliness of warehouse, facility, and building grounds
- Pick up parts and equipment from suppliers and deliver parts to jobs as necessary
- Mobilize equipment and materials for scheduled jobs
- Ability to drive trucks and trailers to off-site or customer locations
- Accurately confirm materials and equipment against Purchase Orders and Work Orders
- Perform basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment
- General equipment troubleshooting and repairs
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities to facilitate company operation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
- General computer skills and experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to lift 50+ pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift experience
- Experience using shipping/receiving software
- Basic tool and equipment knowledge, use and skills
- General mechanical abilities
- Auto maintenance mechanic experience
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and organization
