You'll establish the long-term vision, operating model, technology roadmap, and strategic partnerships that help us stay ahead of evolving threats while supporting the continued growth of our business.

  • Define Crunchyroll's global content protection and anti-piracy strategy aligned with our long-term business and content distribution goals
  • Establish the vision, operating model, technology roadmap, and investment priorities for protecting Crunchyroll's intellectual property worldwide
  • Advise executive leadership on piracy trends, enterprise risk, regulatory developments, and strategic opportunities

  • Oversee Crunchyroll's global content protection organization and day-to-day anti-piracy operations
  • Manage external enforcement partners responsible for notice generation, investigations, intelligence gathering, software development, and unauthorized content detection
  • Drive scalable enforcement across websites, streaming platforms, social media, search engines, cyberlockers, and other online services
  • Partner across Legal, Product, Engineering, Content Operations, Trust & Safety, Security, and Sony Pictures Entertainment to improve enforcement capabilities and operational effectiveness
  • Build strategic relationships with digital platforms, hosting providers, registrars, CDN providers, payment processors, and industry organizations
  • Direct investigations into piracy ecosystems, monitor evolving threats, and recommend proactive strategies to reduce infringement and mitigate future risk
  • Develop executive reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics that measure enforcement effectiveness, return on investment, and business impact
  • Provide strategic guidance on global copyright laws, DMCA processes, platform enforcement programs, and industry best practices
  • Support executive initiatives and special projects related to protecting Crunchyroll's intellectual property

We are considering applicants available to work a hybrid schedule, with three days each week onsite at our Los Angeles office.
