About the role

About the Role

Nscale is hiring a VP of AI Infrastructure Deployment - Technical Program Management for APAC, based in Singapore. This senior leader will own end-to-end delivery of our AI infrastructure roadmap, connecting strategy to execution and turning growth plans into live, usable compute at scale. The role drives alignment across infrastructure engineering, hardware, operations, supply chain, finance and product, managing timelines, dependencies and trade-offs with rigor. You will lead multidisciplinary program teams, navigate complex regional supply chains and data center ecosystems, and partner closely with global executive leadership to deliver mission-critical AI capacity quickly, reliably and at hyperscale.

What You'll Do

  • Drive platform delivery at scale: Lead the program strategy and execution model for AI Infra delivery, balancing speed, cost, reliability, and future growth.
  • Turn demand into an executable plan: Translate capacity demand into clear requirements, integrated roadmaps, and delivery plans teams can actually execute against.
  • Schedule & Delivery Management: Develop Master Deployment Schedules across design, procurement, integration, commissioning, and launch, enforce rigorous execution timelines, lead executive stakeholder messaging, and maintain unified customer communications across all regional milestones.
  • Align internal teams and external partners: Bring infrastructure engineering, hardware, ops, supply chain, finance, and product together on expectations, timelines, and trade-offs, and manage colocation operators, contractors, suppliers, utilities, and regulators across multi-megawatt to gigawatt-scale deployments in the APAC.
  • Make "rack dock to live" repeatable: Own and continuously improve the end-to-end path from delivery to production, enforcing global standards, QA/QC, and BOM validation while adapting to local regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Manage risks and dependencies: Identify constraints early, make calls, and escalate when needed to keep GPU delivery on track.
  • Lead and scale the function: Build a small, senior team of program leaders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Location: Must be based in Singapore.
  • Program leadership at scale: 12+ years in program or delivery management, including at least 5 years leading senior program managers on large-scale data center, cloud, or telecom infrastructure programs.
  • End-to-end delivery ownership: Proven track record of owning complex infrastructure programs from plan to production, including integrated schedules, dependencies, and cross-functional trade-offs.
  • Technical fluency: Working knowledge of the data center lifecycle, including rack integration, networking, commissioning, and operational handoff. You need enough depth to challenge engineering teams and make informed calls, not hands-on expertise.
  • Regional ecosystem experience: Experience delivering in APAC data center markets, including colocation partners, power and grid constraints, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Executive presence: Demonstrated ability to align senior stakeholders, escalate with clarity, and represent delivery commitments to customers and leadership.
  • Language proficiency: Both written and spoken Mandarin communication skills is essential to engage with Chinese-speaking business counterparts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering GPU or AI infrastructure at hyperscale (multi-megawatt to gigawatt).
  • Background at a hyperscaler, neocloud, or large colocation provider.
  • Experience building a program function from an early stage.

What We're Looking For

  • Execution mindset: You move fast without cutting corners, and you bring structure and rigor to high-growth, ambiguous environments.
  • Ownership and accountability: You own delivery outcomes end to end, hold milestone owners to their dates, and clear critical-path blockers before they become customer problems.
  • Influence without authority: You build alignment across engineering, operations, finance, external partners, and the C-suite, and you negotiate trade-offs with clarity and credibility.
  • Candor about risk: You surface bad news early, bring options instead of surprises, and help the business set realistic expectations with customers.
  • Systems builder: You turn one-off heroics into repeatable processes, and you leave every program, and the function, better than you found it.
