Well House Veterinary Clinic | Crowborough & Tunbridge Wells

Your ideas. Your next step. A practice you can help shape.

At Well House, you’ll join a close team with a strong Practice Director and an established Head Nurse alongside you. There’s room to bring your ideas, build on your clinical interests and put your stamp on the practice.

If leading a team is something you’ve thought about, this could be your next step. You don’t need to arrive as a leader. If that’s where you want to go, we’ll support you with leadership development courses and a structured progression plan.

If leadership isn't for you we have the equipment and the caseload for you to hone your skills across varied cases and a chance to develop further in any specific interests you may have.

And if this next chapter means a move, there’s accommodation available, visa support and up to £8,000 in relocation assistance. With Ashdown Forest on your doorstep and London within reach, there’s plenty to look forward to outside work, too.

At inspiring vet care, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we're trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose of healthier animals and happier owners.

Practice Highlights

  • Join a team where sharing knowledge and asking for advice are part of everyday practice
  • Explore progression to Lead Vet, with leadership courses and a plan to support you
  • Flexible working options, with Saturdays forming part of the rota
  • Accommodation available to make your move easier
  • ISFM Silver Accredited cat-friendly clinic
  • Two locations close to Ashdown Forest, with rail links to London and Gatwick

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care while leading and supporting those around you.

You Might Be a Great Fit If...

You are a confident and motivated Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering outstanding patient and client care. You’ll bring:

  • A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
  • Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
