UX Team
We’re looking for a UX Writer for Customer Communications to create clear, engaging, and user-centered communications across our digital channels.
In this role, you’ll craft messages that help users understand our products, stay informed, and take action with confidence. From emails and push notifications to SMS, WhatsApp, and in-app chat messages, you’ll play a key role in shaping how users interact with us.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to turn complex information into simple, relevant, and effective communications. If you have a passion for writing, an eye for detail, and a strong understanding of how language influences the customer experience, we’d love to meet you!
Challenges that await you
- Write content for multiple communication channels, including emails, push notifications, SMS, WhatsApp, and in-app chat messages.
- Adapt messaging, tone, and structure to different channels, audiences, communication objectives, and stages of the customer journey.
- Transform complex financial and technical information into simple, accessible, and actionable messages.
- Collaborate with CRM, Marketing, Product, Design, Legal, and Compliance teams to develop accurate, consistent, and user-centered communications.
- Create content for different communication purposes, including onboarding, product education, engagement, retention, transactional updates, and service notifications.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, terminology, and writing style across all customer-facing communications.
- Write, review, edit, and proofread content in Mexican Spanish and English, ensuring linguistic accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
- Optimize content based on channel-specific requirements, character limits, user needs, and communication goals.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of content guidelines, messaging standards, and communication best practices.
- Continuously improve content based on user feedback, performance insights, and UX writing and content design best practices.
What makes you a great fit
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, Advertising, Literature, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in UX writing, copywriting, CRM content, digital communications, or related fields.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in Mexican Spanish, with a strong command of English. Proficiency in both languages is required.
- Experience writing content for digital communication channels such as emails, push notifications, SMS, WhatsApp, or in-app messages.
- Ability to adapt writing style, tone, and messaging to different audiences, contexts, and communication objectives.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple requests, priorities, and deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback from different stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience writing communications for fintech, banking, or other regulated industries.
- Understanding of customer lifecycle communications, segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing.
- Experience with localization or transcreation between English and Mexican Spanish.
