About the role

For over four decades, Cirrus Logic has been propelled by the top engineers in mixed-signal processing. Our rockstar team thrives on solving complex challenges with innovative end-user solutions for the world's top consumer brands. Cirrus Logic is also known for its award-winning culture, which was built on a foundation of inclusion and fairness, meaningful community engagement, and delivering enjoyable employee experiences at every turn. But we couldn’t do it without our extraordinary workforce – and that’s where you come in. Join our team and help us continue to make Cirrus Logic an exceptional place to grow your career!

Cirrus Logic creates the audio and mixed-signal chips inside the world's most popular devices, and our engineers and customers need great tools to work with them. That's where you come in.

We're looking for a User Experience (UX) Designer to shape our product integration tool, SoundClear Studio®. You'll develop a deep understanding of Cirrus Logic chips and design rich, intuitive GUIs that help customers integrate those products into their own devices. Your design decisions will directly influence how engineers around the world experience our technology.

At Cirrus Logic, we believe great design comes from continuous learning. You'll join a team that invests in your growth, encourages experimentation, and treats every project as a chance to sharpen your craft.

What you'll do

  • Lead the design of complex software applications from concept to delivery
  • Uncover user needs and tooling requirements through user research and interviews
  • Turn ambiguous requests into concrete, actionable design solutions
  • Bring ideas to life with prototypes and design artifacts
  • Gather stakeholder feedback through iterative design and usability testing
  • Collaborate with developers to maintain design intent throughout the implementation process
  • Facilitate workshops that help teams explore problems, surface pain points, and align on direction

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience as a User Experience Designer on commercial products
  • A track record of designing software tools and solving complex design challenges
  • Confidence conducting user research, iterative design, and usability testing
  • An eye for clean UI design
  • The ability to foster relationships with stakeholders at every level
  • Comfort collaborating in an asynchronous team
  • Motivation to solve problems through creative thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Nice to have

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 4+ years of hands-on experience
  • Background designing for semiconductor, engineering, or other technically complex industries
  • Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools
