Transfer Pricing Documentation Analyst

Location: Pune

Work Mode: Hybrid

Experience: 3–5 Years

About the Role

At Convera, we are seeking a Transfer Pricing Documentation Analyst who will report to the Head of International Tax & Transfer Pricing and support the company's global transfer pricing documentation, compliance, and operational transfer pricing activities.

The primary focus of this role is to support global transfer pricing compliance and governance by preparing and maintaining transfer pricing documentation, including Master Files, Local Files, and related analyses across multiple jurisdictions.

The role involves coordinating with external advisers to ensure appropriate benchmarking studies are in place, supporting the review and updating of intercompany agreements, and ensuring transfer pricing policies are implemented and properly documented across the business.

You will collaborate closely with the Head of International Tax & Transfer Pricing, the Global Tax team, finance teams, regional stakeholders, and external advisers.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in transfer pricing within a global financial services organisation while gaining broader exposure to international tax, operational transfer pricing, and tax forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain annual transfer pricing documentation across the Convera group, including Master Files, Local Files, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate documentation requests from external advisers and local finance teams across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Maintain a central repository of transfer pricing documentation, intercompany agreements, and supporting analyses.
  • Monitor transfer pricing filing obligations and compliance deadlines across jurisdictions, maintaining compliance calendars and status reports.
  • Work with external advisers to ensure relevant benchmarking studies are available to support the group's transfer pricing policies.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to collect and validate information required for transfer pricing documentation and compliance projects.
  • Support the review and updating of intercompany agreements to ensure alignment with current transfer pricing policies and business operations.
  • Assist in responding to tax authority enquiries, audits, and information requests relating to transfer pricing matters.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of transfer pricing policies and operational transfer pricing processes.
  • Assist with forecasting by gathering and analysing transfer pricing data to assess its expected impact on projected financial results.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Tax, or a related discipline, or a relevant professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of experience in transfer pricing.
  • Hands-on experience supporting transfer pricing documentation and associated compliance activities.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Experience working with external advisers.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience in a multinational organisation, financial services business, or professional services firm.
  • Exposure to OECD transfer pricing principles and documentation requirements.
  • Experience supporting interactions with external advisers and tax authorities.
  • Familiarity with Oracle, FCCS, EPM, or similar ERP and reporting systems.

What Success Looks Like

  • Global transfer pricing documentation is completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Compliance deadlines are proactively tracked and managed across jurisdictions.
  • Requests from external advisers and tax authorities are handled efficiently.
  • Intercompany agreements and supporting documentation remain current and well organised.
  • Transfer pricing data is collected consistently and accurately across jurisdictions.
  • Opportunities for process improvement and automation are identified and implemented.
