We’re on a mission to transform an industry that’s been stuck in the past by empowering contractors and communities through innovative technology, real-time support, and a team that truly cares.

We’re hiring a Technology Warehouse Associate at our Telematics Warehouse in Overland Park, KS and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.

The Technology Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting all aspects of warehouse operations related to technology hardware, including receiving, inventory management, device provisioning, kitting, quality inspection, order fulfillment, and shipping. This role ensures that all products and devices are accurately received, properly configured, carefully assembled, and shipped in a “field-ready” condition to meet customer and company standards.

Primary Responsibilities

Inventory & Receiving

  • Receive and inspect inbound shipments for accuracy, damage, and completeness.
  • Verify product quantities and serial numbers; scan and record devices in the inventory management system.
  • Generate and apply product identification, tracking, and shipping labels.
  • Direct incoming products to the appropriate location (quality inspection, provisioning, storage, etc.).
  • Support purchase order entry, invoice tracking, and inventory reconciliation as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and audits.

Device Readiness & Configuration

  • Power up, provision, assemble, and configure telematics and electronic devices according to current specifications.
  • Perform firmware updates and configuration changes via OTA, USB, serial connection, or command-line tools.
  • Conduct quality inspections on inbound devices and wiring harnesses.
  • Troubleshoot and triage device issues during provisioning and readiness processes.
  • Collaborate with quality, development, and support teams to ensure compliance with versioning and configuration requirements.
  • Ensure all devices are “field ready” prior to shipment.

Kitting & Assembly

  • Review and interpret work orders and pick lists to assemble kits and subassemblies.
  • Accurately count, assemble, and package components according to customer specifications.
  • Operate warehouse equipment including scan guns, label printers, shrink wrappers, and other packaging tools.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality control during kit assembly and preparation.

Order Fulfillment & Shipping

  • Perform final quality checks against pick lists to ensure 100% order accuracy.
  • Pack orders to prevent damage and optimize shipping efficiency.
  • Generate packing slips and apply appropriate carrier, regulatory, and lithium battery labels.
  • Prepare small package and LTL shipments for carrier pickup.
  • Support domestic and international shipping processes, including customs documentation when required.
  • Load outbound packages and freight safely and efficiently.

Safety & Continuous Improvement

  • Follow all safety standards and warehouse best practices.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse and operations functions.
