About the role

About Nscale

Nscale is the GPU cloud engineered for AI. We provide cost-effective, high-performance infrastructure for AI start-ups and large enterprise customers. Nscale enables AI-focused companies to achieve superior results by reducing the complexity of AI development. Our GPU cloud bolsters technical capabilities and directly supports strategic business outcomes, including cost management, rapid innovation, and environmental responsibility.

We thrive on a culture of relentless innovation, ownership, and accountability, where every team member takes pride in their work and drives it with excellence and urgency. As an Nscaler, you'll build trust through openness and transparency, where everyone is inspired to do their best work. If you join our team, you'll be contributing to building the technology that powers the future.

About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive the delivery of the network builds behind Nscale's GPU clusters across Europe. You'll join our Deployment organisation, a build org that owns every step from hardware arrival on site through to customer acceptance.

This is a delivery-ownership role, not a pure coordination one. You'll run the schedule, risk, and dependency management for network bring-up across multiple concurrent sites, translating network designs and vendor commitments into a build plan the whole team can execute against — and you'll be close enough to the technical detail to know when a "green" status isn't actually green. The role involves regular travel to our sites.

What You'll be Doing

  • Own the end-to-end program plan for network deployment across GPU cluster builds — from hardware delivery and cabling through fabric bring-up, acceptance testing, and customer handover.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination between Network Engineering, Network Architecture, Data Centre Operations, vendors, and customers to keep builds on schedule.
  • Identify, track, and resolve schedule risks and blockers before they hit the critical path — long-lead optics and hardware, vendor delays, site readiness, staffing.
  • Build and maintain reporting on program status, milestones, and risk for leadership and customer-facing stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor and partner delivery commitments for network hardware, optics, and installation services, holding them accountable to schedule and quality.
  • Run program governance: regular cadence calls, RAID logs, change control, and post-build retrospectives to improve future builds.
  • Partner with Network Architecture and Engineering to turn reference designs and BOMs into site-specific, sequenced build plans.
  • Coordinate acceptance testing and validation milestones ahead of customer handover, ensuring documentation and sign-off requirements are met on time.

About You

  • 5+ years of technical program or project management experience in large-scale data centre, cloud, or network infrastructure environments.
  • Experience at a hyperscaler, cloud provider, or major network vendor, or delivering comparable large-scale infrastructure programs.
  • Strong working knowledge of data centre networking concepts (routing/switching, fabric architectures, WAN edge) sufficient to assess technical risk and challenge status reporting — you don't need to configure the fabric, but you need to understand what "done" looks like.
  • Track record of managing multiple concurrent, fast-moving builds with hard customer deadlines.
  • Skilled at vendor and stakeholder management, including holding partners accountable to committed schedules.
  • Strong program reporting and communication skills — able to translate technical status into clear, decision-ready updates for leadership and customers.
  • Calm under pressure, comfortable making trade-off calls on live builds with incomplete information.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe to sites as needed.

Nice to Have

  • Experience program-managing GPU cluster, HPC, or AI training infrastructure builds.
  • Familiarity with network fabric technologies relevant to GPU clusters (Ethernet/InfiniBand, EVPN/VXLAN, RoCE).
  • Experience with program and risk tooling (e.g. Jira, Smartsheet, Monday, RAID/MOP frameworks).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent program/project management certification.
  • Experience standing up or improving build-program processes in a scaling organisation.

Why this role matters

Every day a network build slips is a day a customer's GPUs sit idle. Your work decides whether our builds land on schedule, on spec, and ready for the customers waiting on them.
