About the role

Corymbia Reserve State High School offers an exciting opportunity for teachers who want to make a real difference and help build something extraordinary from the ground up.

Opening in 2027, the new state-of-the-art secondary school will welcome approximately 600 Year 7 and 8 students, growing to a thriving 2,400-student Year 7 to 12 school by 2031. As a foundation teacher, you will be more than a classroom teacher. You will be part of the team that helps shape the school's identity, culture, curriculum and future direction.

The school's foundation vision is centred on creating strong student belonging and engagement, informed by the work of Doug Fisher and aligned with the outcomes of the Brighter Futures plan. Reading will also be a key priority across all teaching and learning, ensuring every student is supported to become a confident and capable learner.

We are looking for flexible, innovative and passionate secondary teachers who understand adolescent learning and are excited by the opportunity to do things differently. Foundation staff will have a genuine voice in shaping curriculum design, pedagogy and senior school offerings, while playing a pivotal role in establishing a strong, positive school culture.

If the idea of joining a brand-new school, shaping its future and leaving your mark from day one excites you, we would love to hear from you.
