About the role

Depot Hill State School is a welcoming and diverse school community where teachers have the opportunity to know their students well and make a meaningful impact on their learning and development. Our students bring a wide range of strengths, experiences and learning needs to the classroom, creating an environment where strong relationships, inclusive practice and responsive teaching are highly valued.

All classes across the school are multi-age, providing teachers with the opportunity to develop their skills in differentiation and deliver learning that responds to students at different stages of their development. Importantly, teachers are well supported through strong whole-school intervention practices, with school-based Heads of Curriculum (HOCs), Head of Special Education Services (HOSES), a Community Education Counsellor (CEC), and multiple teacher aides within classrooms working alongside teachers to support student learning and engagement.
