We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.

We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.

The Role

As a Tech Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Mistral AI’s growth by partnering with hiring managers to attract, engage, and secure top-tier talent across Product, Engineering and Science. In a fast-paced and competitive landscape, you’ll drive innovative strategies to identify and hire exceptional candidates who align with our mission and accelerate our impact. What You Will Do

  • Drive talent attraction by engaging high-potential candidates across diverse functions and geographies.
  • Own the candidate journey, ensuring clarity, responsiveness, and a best-in-class experience at every stage.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, streamline interview processes, and align on talent priorities.
  • Tackle complex hiring challenges, filling critical roles in multi-location settings with precision and urgency.
  • Leverage data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities to refine talent processes.
  • Innovate and improve by proposing and implementing enhancements to workflows, documentation, and tools.
  • Elevate standards in candidate experience and recruitment effectiveness through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Build scalable systems and best practices to support rapid growth.
  • Embody our culture as an ambassador, internally and externally.
  • Embrace hybrid work, with regular onsite collaboration in Paris to strengthen team connections.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience: 5+ years in recruiting, preferably in tech, high-growth, or competitive environments.
  • Functional expertise: Deep experience hiring for technical and/or scientific roles
  • Market savvy: Ability to own and execute searches independently in highly competitive talent landscapes.
  • Data-driven mindset: Skilled at analyzing metrics to solve problems and optimize recruitment processes.
  • Global perspective: Experience with international hiring and fluent English communication.
  • Stakeholder influence: Ability to advise and align senior leaders with credibility and diplomacy.
  • Hands-on execution: Capable of balancing strategy with operational excellence, staying organized and disciplined.
  • Tool proficiency: Familiarity with modern ATS (e.g. Ashby), LinkedIn search, scheduling (e.g. Modernloop), and AI-driven productivity tools is a plus.
