About the role

About Mistral

Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.

We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.

The Role

As a Talent Acquisition Contractor in our US team, you will play a central role in building high-caliber teams during a period of rapid company expansion. You will work with hiring managers across business and technical functions to source, engage, and hire talent for go-to-market roles and corporate teams. Your work will directly impact our ability to grow, helping shape our culture and future success. This role is ideally based in San Francisco or New York City, but we welcome remote candidates.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the end-to-end recruiting process to create a seamless experience for candidates and hiring teams
  • Develop and implement search strategies for a range of business, corporate, and technical roles
  • Partner closely with stakeholders to define hiring needs and sourcing plans
  • Identify, engage, and guide candidates throughout the interview and offer process
  • Analyze hiring data and processes to find and address root causes or inefficiencies
  • Recommend and drive improvements in recruiting processes, documentation, and tools
  • Advise candidates on closing strategies to ensure high acceptance rates
  • Contribute to ongoing refinements in hiring systems and approaches

What We're Looking For

  • Experience recruiting for both business and technical positions, ideally within the enterprise software sector
  • Strong ability to operate independently, quickly learning new roles, markets, and processes
  • A track record of hiring in highly competitive talent markets
  • At least four years of experience in recruiting, including outbound search
  • Effective communication skills with the credibility to influence hiring managers and senior stakeholders
  • Attention to detail, accountability, and a drive to deliver on hiring targets
  • Comfort moving between strategic planning and hands-on recruiting tasks
  • Experience with Ashby or similar recruiting tools

What We Offer

We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.
