About the role

Who we are

Neros is a defense technology company rebuilding America’s drone industrial base. We design and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are tested in combat, iterated at startup speed, and built at massive scale. Our team culture is fast, hands-on, and obsessed with closing the gap between design and deployment.

As drones transform the character of warfare, Neros is delivering the systems the West needs to compete on the modern battlefield and deter the adversaries of democracy. We’re hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years.

What you will be doing

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the growth of our Ukrainian team by attracting highly qualified technical and non-technical professionals.

This is a hands-on role focused on full-cycle recruitment for complex engineering positions within MilTech / Defense Tech, proactive candidate sourcing, and managing the hiring process, including pre-onboarding coordination. You will work closely with our Ukrainian and US teams and have the opportunity to contribute to the development and improvement of our recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage full-cycle recruitment, from defining hiring needs and developing candidate profiles to offer acceptance and the employee's start date
  • Proactively source, engage, screen, and assess candidates for technical positions, including Embedded, Firmware, Hardware, UAV, and other engineering roles
  • Partner with hiring managers in Ukraine and the US to align candidate requirements, provide labor market insights, and support informed hiring decisions
  • Coordinate pre-onboarding activities, including collecting required documents and candidate information, ensuring timely handover to relevant stakeholders, supporting employment documentation processes, and coordinating preparations for the employee's first day
  • Manage recruitment pipelines, maintain accurate ATS records, develop talent pools, track key recruitment metrics, and provide regular updates on hiring progress
  • Analyze sourcing channel effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement changes to enhance recruitment efficiency and candidate experience

You should have the following

  • 3+ years of hands-on recruitment experience, including technical recruitment
  • Practical recruitment experience within the MilTech / Defense Tech industry is required
  • Proven track record of successfully filling complex engineering and technical positions
  • Strong hands-on experience with sourcing, headhunting, Boolean Search, X-Ray Search, and other direct sourcing techniques
  • Good understanding of the Ukrainian technical talent market, sourcing channels, and competition for specialized professionals
  • Experience independently managing multiple vacancies simultaneously and owning the full recruitment cycle
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers, conducting recruitment interviews, and assessing candidates
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), managing recruitment pipelines, and tracking hiring metrics
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher for effective communication with international teams
  • Strong ownership, independence, proactive problem-solving, organizational skills, and a results-oriented approach

Nice to have

  • Experience recruiting specialists in UAV systems, robotics, electronics, embedded systems, or related engineering fields
  • An established professional network within the MilTech / Defense Tech community
  • Experience working in international technology companies, startups, or rapidly scaling organizations
  • Experience building or improving recruitment processes, implementing recruitment tools, or introducing workflow automation
  • Experience recruiting for operational, finance, management, and other non-technical positions
  • Experience coordinating pre-onboarding activities, collecting candidate documentation, and collaborating with HR, Operations, and other stakeholders to prepare new hires for their first day

What we offer

  • The opportunity to work at an international Defense Tech company
  • A direct impact on building and scaling our Ukrainian team
  • The opportunity to work on challenging and highly specialized technical vacancies
  • Close collaboration with hiring managers and international teams
  • The opportunity to contribute to the development and improvement of recruitment processes
  • A hybrid work format based in Kyiv
