About the role

Type: Full-time, salaried employment

Location: Coventry warehouse, on site.

Salary Range: £42,000 - £50,000 depending on experience + stock options

Focal Systems is the industry leader in retail AI solutions. We are headquartered in San Francisco, California with operations in Canada and the UK, and a tech-hub in Poland. We are a Deep Learning first company. Our mission is to automate and optimize brick and mortar retail using deep learning computer vision. Focal Systems has been deployed at scale with some of the top retailers in the world.

We seek smart, creative and passionate people who want to help build a great and enduring company and deploy Deep Learning to the world!

About the Role

As Supply Chain Coordinator, you will keep our camera hardware moving across the UK. You will coordinate the day-to-day supply chain, from inbound shipments and stock control through warehousing, outbound deliveries to field teams, and the returns and repair loop that gets equipment back into service.

Our UK operations run in cycles, with periods of rapid scale-up for new retailer rollouts followed by quieter maintenance periods. You will help make sure the right hardware is in the right place at the right time through each of those shifts, keeping stock levels and deliveries in step with the deployment schedule.

You will track and run day-to-day activity at our warehouse and storage locations across the UK, coordinate with field teams, couriers, and our supply chain team, and be the go-to person for an accurate picture of UK stock and logistics.

What We Are Looking For

  • You are organised and proactive, and you enjoy keeping lots of moving parts on track
  • You treat inventory accuracy as non-negotiable and take pride in records others can rely on
  • You communicate clearly and follow things through, whether you are chasing a delayed shipment or flagging a stock risk early
  • You stay calm when volume swings quickly and adapt your priorities to match

What You Will Be Doing

  • Own the day-to-day UK supply chain for camera hardware and components, from inbound receipt to delivery to the field and back again
  • Track stock levels against the deployment schedule and flag shortages or surpluses early, helping us prepare for scale-up and scale-down periods
  • Book and track inbound shipments from our global supply chain, including supporting with the preparation of import and customs paperwork and liaising with suppliers
  • Organise outbound deliveries to field teams and retailer sites, booking couriers and hauliers and resolving delivery issues
  • Keep inventory records accurate through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and timely system updates
  • Coordinate the daily work of warehouse and repair technicians, helping flex resource as volume changes
  • Report on supply chain KPIs, such as stock accuracy, order fulfilment time, and repair turnaround
  • Suggest and help implement improvements to warehouse processes, and keep SOPs up to date
  • Follow and promote safe working practices and health and safety requirements in the warehouse
  • Manage day-to-day warehouse activity, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or inventory coordination
  • Experience with stock control and inventory management, with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Experience booking and tracking shipments and working with couriers or hauliers
  • Confident with spreadsheets and inventory systems, and comfortable keeping detailed records
  • Technical aptitude and an interest in troubleshooting hardware
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle priorities as volume rises and falls
  • Clear written and verbal communication, including with suppliers and international colleagues
  • Comfortable with hands-on warehouse work, including moving equipment safely
  • Full valid UK driving licence

Nice to Have

  • Experience with import and export paperwork or customs processes
  • Experience with returns management, reverse logistics, or hardware repair
  • Background in retail technology, electronics, or field-service businesses
