About the role
Liquid Personnel are looking for a Fostering Social Worker to join their client on a permanent basis, working within an Independent Fostering Agency based in Manchester and Lancashire.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Supervise and support foster carers to provide safe, nurturing, and stable placements for children and young people.
- Undertake regular supervisory visits and monitor children’s safety, wellbeing, and progress.
- Complete statutory visits, placement plans, risk assessments, and reports for Looked After Child Reviews.
- Work collaboratively with local authorities, birth families, and multi-agency professionals to promote positive outcomes for children.
- Provide guidance to foster carers on safeguarding, challenging behaviours, trauma, and placement stability.
- Respond to safeguarding concerns and placement difficulties in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Participate in foster carer annual reviews and identify training and development needs.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with fostering regulations and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role you must have;
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
