About the role
Responsibilities
- Photograph and film menu items and daily service for social media
- Write captions and create simple graphics (Canva) for specials, new items, hours and events
- Plan, schedule and post content each week from a supervisor-approved calendar
- Help launch and grow the café’s social media accounts
- Respond to comments and messages, and pass questions or complaints to the supervisor
- Share a short monthly summary of followers, views and engagement
- Coordinate with Dining Services and University Marketing on campus promotions
- Get supervisor approval before posting promotions or pricing, and only post people who have given permission
Requirements
- Current Regent University student in good academic standing.
- Available 5–10 hours per week, including some time in the café during service hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.).
- Experience creating content for social media; personal, club, or class work to share is a plus.
- Strong photography and writing skills; experience with Canva and photo or video editing apps preferred.
- Communication, Marketing, Journalism, and Cinema-Television students encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work independently, manage time, and meet deadlines.
- Reliable and respectful with a positive attitude.

Salary: $13 per hour
