At Coombabah High, we promote belonging. We are community focused. Together we celebrate our talents and achievements, support and encourage each other. Our students and families' cultures, perspectives and experiences shape and enrich our school.

We value the strong, supportive relationships we have built within our school and wider community. Our academic, sporting, cultural and industry links offer opportunities for each student to gain the skills and experience they need to thrive in a rapidly changing, globalised world.

Your opportunity

  • Improve data collection and management systems to identify student needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students, families, community members and Elders, contributing to local decision-making to support positive outcomes.
  • Engage with students and families through communication and home visits to encourage school attendance and identify educational, social, emotional and behavioural concerns.
  • Monitor student wellbeing and behaviour, coordinate interventions where needed, and work collaboratively with the school team to address concerns raised by students, families and the community.
  • Promote a safe, caring and supportive school environment by facilitating open communication, mediating between stakeholders and developing effective strategies to strengthen relationships and resolve issues.
