Build the Future with Us — EquipmentShare is Hiring a Strategic Account Manager

At EquipmentShare, we’re not just filling a role — we’re assembling the best team on the planet to build something that’s never been built before. We’re on a mission to transform an industry that’s been stuck in the past by empowering contractors and communities through innovative technology, real-time support, and a team that truly cares.

We’re hiring a Strategic Account Manager for our rental facilities in the Mountain West, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.

Pay: $150,000 - $600,000 Total Compensation ($65,000-80,000 base salary + Uncapped commission with no market restrictions)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow relationships with assigned strategic accounts and their subsidiary companies.
  • Serve as the customer’s primary point of contact across the assigned territory while coordinating support from local branches, specialty divisions, national accounts, and other EquipmentShare resources.
  • Build strategic account plans designed to increase customer retention, equipment and product penetration, revenue, and overall wallet share.
  • Identify gaps in EquipmentShare’s current share of a customer’s rental, equipment, service, technology, and specialty-solutions spend.
  • Negotiate, execute, and manage master service agreements, preferred-provider agreements, rate structures, rebates, and other strategic commercial arrangements.
  • Route qualified leads and project opportunities to local Territory Account Managers and other responsible sales representatives while remaining engaged in the overall customer strategy.
  • Partner closely with Territory Account Managers, National Account Managers, specialty teams, branch leadership, and operations to grow strategic-account and branch revenue.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
