  • Architect reusable analytical patterns, templates, and frameworks; guide technical design decisions and partner on data-model enhancements.
  • Influence analytical approaches across workstreams through credibility, data-informed recommendations, and transparent tradeoff discussions.
  • Mentor analysts through code reviews, pairing, knowledge sharing, and coaching on technical and consultative best practices.
  • Deliver, Quality and Continuous Improvement
  • Lead planning and delivery for complex, multi-phase analytical initiatives, including milestones, dependencies, review points, risks, and scope changes.
  • Own communication across assigned workstreams and provide clear updates on progress, decisions, dependencies, mitigation approaches, and tradeoffs.
  • Validate the completeness, consistency, and accuracy of medical claims and related datasets through documented logic, reconciliation, testing, and quality controls.
  • Promote iterative delivery by sharing prototypes, validating direction, and refining solutions based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Identify systemic issues and implement solutions that improve the scalability, auditability, consistency, and efficiency of reporting processes.
  • Ensure adherence to company compliance standards, including reporting any noncompliance, and remain current on healthcare analytics and Population Health practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience analyzing claim-level financial measures, healthcare utilization, provider and facility data, and eligibility information.
  • Ability to identify and account for common medical claims data-quality issues and establish appropriate validation approaches.
  • Experience leading complex analytical initiatives and translating ambiguous business challenges into structured analytical frameworks and scalable solutions.
  • Experience gathering requirements and building trusted partnerships with internal stakeholders, including senior or cross-functional partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence analytical approaches without formal authority and communicate risks, dependencies, recommendations, and tradeoffs clearly.
  • Experience mentoring peers, sharing technical knowledge, and improving team practices through reusable assets, documentation, or peer review.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex analysis into concise, actionable recommendations.
