About the role

BoxLunch is seeking a strategic, culturally connected social media leader to grow brand awareness, deepen fan engagement, and drive measurable business results. This role leads social strategy, content development, creator and influencer partnerships, and the affiliate program, working closely with Brand, Creative, Merchandising, E-commerce, and PR to bring integrated campaigns to life.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own insight-led social strategy, channel plans, content priorities, and KPIs across key and emerging platforms, using audience insights, trends, and performance data to drive growth.
  • Lead original, platform-native content development and the social editorial calendar, translating fandom, culture, product launches, and brand campaigns into compelling storytelling.
  • Develop and manage creator and influencer partnerships, including talent selection, briefs, agency coordination, content approvals, and campaign measurement.
  • Lead and grow the affiliate program, partnering with E-commerce to optimize recruitment, partner performance, conversion, and attributed revenue.
  • Collaborate proactively with Brand, Creative, Merchandising, E-commerce, PR, and Retail on integrated planning; communicate timelines, priorities, deliverables, and results.
  • Oversee social campaigns, community management, reporting, budgets, and agency partners; turn performance insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Coach and develop the social team, setting clear priorities, maintaining creative quality, and fostering accountability and cross-functional partnership.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 7+ years of social media or digital content marketing experience with 3+ years in leadership, ideally in retail, fashion, lifestyle, entertainment, or consumer brands; 3+ years of team leadership experience.
  • Proven success building social strategies and content that deliver audience growth, engagement, and business impact.
  • Hands-on experience leading creator/influencer programs and affiliate partnerships with measurable performance or revenue goals.
  • Strong cross-functional communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Fluency in social analytics, platform trends, content development, and performance reporting; strong creative judgment and passion for pop culture and fandom.

Please note the pay range for this position starts as listed in the job posting, but other factors such as an individual’s education, location, meeting the minimum job requirements for the role, training and experience, will determine the final salary for potential new hires. At this time, we are not able to support new employment-based visa sponsorships due to current business needs and resource limitations.
