PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

What We Do

Product Management partners with game development, publishing, marketing, and platform teams to provide a data and market-driven view of product strategy that aligns with business goals. As part of Epic’s Growth Team, we use our product expertise to identify and drive growth levers to grow our player base and business.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Product Manager on the Epic Online Services team, you will lead a core set of EOS services, its SDK and social and identity features that help players establish who they are and connect with others across mobile, PC, and console. You'll focus on the foundational systems behind player profiles, friends, presence, and cross-platform continuity, and be accountable for whether each release measurably improves adoption, engagement, and retention. You'll work with Design, Engineering, Production, and partner teams to plan, ship, measure, and refine features within the platform roadmap.

In this role, you will

  • Own the roadmap and performance of a defined set of service, SDK, social and identity features (such as profiles, friends, presence, communication, or account continuity), contributing to the unified platform strategy
  • Lead the end-to-end user experience of these features, and use data and experimentation to evaluate feature performance and identify opportunities to improve adoption, engagement, and retention
  • Partner with Engineering to deliver scalable, high-performance systems that support social and identity features for millions of players globally, balancing usability, performance, privacy, and scalability
  • Define clear goals and success metrics for each feature and release, and hold the work accountable to them
  • Lead product reviews and internal tests on launches, and turn findings into clear recommendations for future planning
  • Identify gaps in our social and identity toolkit and make the case for new features or improvements where the data supports it

What we're looking for

  • Product management experience on consumer-facing platform products or shared systems, preferably on social and/or identity features
  • Proven track record delivering social and/or identity platform features, and measurably improving their performance
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently pull and interpret data, segment players, design experiments, and turn insights into actionable product decisions
  • Strong product instincts that combine data with qualitative insight (player research, community feedback, playtests)
  • Strong product management skills and ability to both adjust processes to support existing and new development frameworks as well as mentoring others in good product management practices
  • Experience working closely with engineering, design, and production teams on complex systems, and aligning stakeholders around priorities
  • Familiarity with cross-platform ecosystems (mobile, PC, console) and the challenges of delivering consistent, high-quality experiences across them
  • A passion for building foundational player experiences that enable meaningful social connections across games, devices, and services

This role is open to multiple locations across the US (including CA, NYC, & WA).
