About the role

Your role in our mission

We’re seeking an experienced professional to join our Lifecycle Marketing team. The Senior Lifecycle Marketing Specialist is responsible for both the management and execution of multi-channel lifecycle marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate has lifecycle marketing experience, managing and executing email, SMS, push, and in-account messaging campaigns using a modern marketing automation platform.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has a customer-first mindset and is seeking to grow in a fast-paced and challenging environment, in a position that directly impacts Prosper’s bottom line. This is a critical role with high expectations and zero room for error.

How you'll make an impact

  • Manage daily campaign tasks, gathering and documenting campaign requirements and launching campaigns based on content calendar
  • Design simple and complex multi-channel journeys in Iterable, including experiments and conditional splits, using data in API event payloads and user profile attributes
  • Code and QA emails within existing email templates, leveraging Iterable snippets and handlebar logic to ensure campaigns are future-proof and can be personalized
  • Collaborate directly with marketing & marketing analytics to intake requests, assess results, identify opportunities for optimization, and deliver campaigns and journeys to meet provided business requirements
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure marketing content is compliant with company and industry policies
  • Collaborate with technical resources to QA API event JSON payloads, outbound webhooks, and provide guidance as necessary
  • Monitor campaign send counts and performance
  • Provide insight and subject matter expertise

Skills that will help you thrive

  • 5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing with hands-on campaign execution, plus a degree or equivalent experience. Applicants with no direct experience creating and deploying email or multi-channel campaigns will not be considered
  • Experience in email, SMS, push notifications, and in-account messaging strongly preferred
  • Direct experience building journeys with a modern marketing automation platform, preferably Iterable, Braze, or similar tools that use modern DAG workflows
  • Expert-level HTML/CSS for email (fluid/hybrid frameworks, dark mode) with autonomous cross-client QA and troubleshooting via Litmus or EoA
  • Knowledge of A/B testing and ability to translate complex test designs into campaign journeys
  • Working knowledge of API events and webhooks
  • Working knowledge of lifecycle marketing best practices
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Solid understanding of JSON data structures and how to leverage them in a templating language is a plus
  • Fintech or similarly highly-regulated industry experience is a plus
