  • Develop manufacturing concepts and specifications for tooling, fixtures, equipment, and automation solutions in collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Manage project execution including scope definition, timelines, budgets, technical requirements, supplier coordination, installation, validation, and production handover.
  • Support product and process changes by assessing manufacturing impacts and implementing improvements to maintain production performance.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing standards including process documentation, work instructions, PFMEAs, control plans, and ERP/MES data.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve production issues and improve process capability.
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Industrialization, and Supply Chain teams to deliver sustainable manufacturing improvements.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering within complex manufacturing environments such as HVAC, automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, or similar industries.
  • Proven experience leading technical projects involving tooling, fixtures, jigs, equipment, layouts, or process improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of assembly processes, manufacturing methods, tooling design, fabrication processes, and production optimization.
  • Experience managing projects from concept through implementation, including supplier coordination, commissioning, and production validation.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, PFMEA, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and 3D CAD models and translate requirements into manufacturable solutions.
  • Experience with ERP/MES systems and manufacturing documentation is an asset.
