We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our Procurement team — a goal-oriented, detail-oriented professional who is ready to deliver outstanding results and demonstrate exceptional efficiency as part of our team.
Responsibilities
- Source suppliers, request and analyze quotations, and purchase electronic components/products according to technical specifications (electronic components, enclosure parts, electromechanical components, and custom-made items) for new devices and prototypes.
- Identify suitable alternatives for electronic components.
- Source and purchase tools, equipment, and consumables in China, Europe, and the USA for Production and R&D teams.
- Identify and develop new suppliers of components and materials to meet specific requirements within established timelines and budgets, while maintaining relationships with the existing supplier base.
- Monitor delivery timelines, pricing, payments, quality, order completeness, and primary accounting documentation.
- Negotiate and coordinate contracts in Ukrainian and English.
- Manage and monitor purchase orders and payments.
Requirements
- Conversational proficiency in Chinese.
- Based in Dongguan or nearby.
- University degree (preferably in a technical field).
- At least 2 years of experience in procurement or sourcing of electronic components.
- Basic knowledge of international trade and foreign economic activity (FEA).
- Experience in a technical field will be an advantage.
- Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.
- Ability to identify problems and find effective solutions.
- Strong sense of ownership, with the ability to see tasks through to completion and turn time into results.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience working with Google Workspace.
- Experience with 1C will be an advantage.
- Experience with Jira/Confluence will be an advantage.
- Upper-Intermediate level of English.
