About the role
Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Social Worker - Older People & Learning Disabilities for its client’s Older People & LD Team based in Sefton. This is a full-time agency role offering £36.79 per hour, focused on delivering high-quality reviews and reassessments as part of a targeted cost-saving project.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will:
- Review complex and high-cost care packages to establish whether the existing level and type of support remain appropriate.
- Analyse the relationship between assessed needs, identified risks, desired outcomes and the services being commissioned.
- Examine whether the current package is being fully utilised and remains effective.
- Consider whether alternative arrangements could meet the person's eligible needs appropriately.
- Identify opportunities for more effective or sustainable care arrangements without compromising the person's safety, wellbeing or statutory rights.
- Provide evidence-based recommendations regarding continuation, amendment or replacement of care packages.
Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
