About the role
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Children’s Safeguarding (Advanced Practitioner Level) team, based in Middlesbrough.
This full-time role involves managing complex safeguarding cases, conducting assessments, developing care plans, and leading interventions to ensure child safety. You will work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, contribute to court proceedings, and maintain accurate case records in line with statutory requirements.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Manage complex safeguarding cases involving children and families at risk.
- Undertake assessments, develop care plans, and lead interventions to ensure child safety and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to deliver effective safeguarding responses.
- Contribute to court proceedings and provide high-quality written reports.
- Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with statutory requirements.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and duty rota as required.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role you must have.
- Qualified Social Worker with current registration.
- Substantial post-qualified experience in children’s safeguarding.
- Strong assessment, planning, and risk management skills.
- Confident in managing complex cases and working under pressure.
- Committed to delivering high-quality, child-centred practice.
