Job Title: Social Worker - Assessment & Intervention

Pay Rate: up to £38 per hour (dependent upon experience)
Job Description
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join a dynamic Assessment & Intervention Team for its client in North Wales. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified social workers who are looking to develop their skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Manage a caseload involving routine social work interventions, escalating complex cases as needed.
- Work with children, families, and carers to assess risks and develop support plans that promote safety and wellbeing.
- Undertake assessments and design care/support plans, including education plans, ensuring they are evidence-based and regularly reviewed.
- Collaborate with experienced practitioners and receive mentoring to build confidence and autonomy in decision-making.
- Operate within a duty system on a rota basis, responding to urgent cases and managing crisis situations effectively.
- Ensure all interventions are proportionate, timely, and aligned with best practice and statutory guidance.

Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role you must have,
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration.
- Experience working with children and families in a statutory setting.
- Strong assessment and planning skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting positive outcomes for children.
