Your eye. Our mountain. Stories worth sharing.

Do you love creating content for social? Is your Instagram page fire? Do you instinctively spot the shot, know when a moment would make a great reel, and catch it before it's gone?

We're hiring a full-time Social Content Creator to capture life at BOLT FARM: the views, the treehouses, the guests, and the real behind-the-scenes of building a brand with founders Seth and Tori Bolt.

Your primary tools are an iPhone, a great eye, and the ability to make people feel comfortable. You don’t need a cinema camera or an elaborate setup. You need to recognize a moment, frame it beautifully, and capture it before it’s gone.

The Core Mission

Create a consistent stream of compelling, social-first video and photos that bring BOLT FARM and its founders’ stories to life. You’ll be our eyes on the ground, capturing both the beauty of the property and the human moments that make it special. Think less staged production, more being in the right place, noticing what matters, and making it look great.

About BOLT FARM

BOLT FARM is building America’s most iconic romantic luxury retreat brand, creating nature-immersed experiences that help people reconnect with each other and what matters most.

Our mountaintop retreat in Whitwell, Tennessee, brings together extraordinary accommodations, sweeping views, thoughtful details, and meaningful guest experiences. The brand has earned national recognition:

  • Featured in Forbes and Travel + Leisure, and seen on Netflix.
  • Recognized with Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice.
  • Followed by 1.2M+ people on social media.

For a creator, that means extraordinary surroundings, real stories, and an established audience ready to see your work. You’ll capture the experiences that make guests want to visit, the moments they remember afterward, and the behind-the-scenes journey of building BOLT FARM alongside its founders.

Your job is to help people feel it before they ever arrive.

What You’ll Do

Capture the property and guest experience

  • Shoot iPhone video and photos of our accommodations, views, amenities, seasonal details, and experiences.
  • Capture happy hour, guest activities & mini-shoots, events, sunrises, sunsets, and the everyday moments that make BOLT FARM worth visiting.
  • Document genuine guest reactions, laughter, connection, and celebrations, with appropriate permission.
  • Help guests feel comfortable and confident during quick, approachable content sessions.
  • Follow a weekly capture plan while staying alert to spontaneous opportunities.

Follow the founders and capture the story

  • Accompany Seth and Tori around the property and during scheduled activities, projects, events, and occasional travel.
  • Help capture natural, unscripted talking-to-camera content without turning every moment into a production.
  • Gather social-first footage around podcast recordings, guest arrivals, coaching days, and other founder activities.

Bring a social creator’s eye

  • Shoot primarily for vertical, mobile-first viewing.
  • Make smart decisions about light, framing, backgrounds, movement, and sound.
  • Understand what makes someone stop scrolling, keep watching, or share a moment.
  • Bring ideas for fresh angles, relatable stories, and relevant trends that fit the brand.

Keep content moving

  • Upload and organize photos and footage promptly using our established workflow.
  • Flag standout moments and share the context editors need.
  • Follow simple capture and handoff checklists so great footage doesn’t get stuck on a phone.

You’re a Great Fit If…

  • You have a great eye. You notice distracting backgrounds, find better light, and instinctively move to improve the shot.
  • You’re great with people. You can make a guest feel at ease, build trust with the founders, and capture natural moments without making things awkward.
  • You understand social. You genuinely enjoy short-form content and can explain why a photo, hook, or video works.
  • You move quickly. You capture the moment instead of missing it while overthinking the setup.
  • You’re flexible and dependable. Plans change, moments happen, and people count on you to be ready.
  • You take feedback well. You’re eager to sharpen your skills and learn the brand.
  • You respect boundaries. You know when to film, when to ask, and when to put the phone down.
  • You want to build something. You’re looking for a full-time role with a team, not another occasional freelance gig.

What You’ll Need

  • Confidence capturing both people and places on an iPhone.
  • Expert-level experience creating Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other short-form social formats.
  • The ability to work onsite at BOLT FARM in Whitwell, Tennessee
  • Availability for a full-time schedule that includes planned early mornings, evenings, and weekend coverage.

Nice to Have, Not Required

  • Basic mobile editing skills using tools such as Cap Cut or Instagram’s native editor.
  • Experience creating founder-led, lifestyle, hospitality, travel, or behind-the-scenes content.
  • Experience helping people feel natural on camera.

*You do not need professional camera gear, drone experience, Premiere Pro proficiency, or broadcast production experience to qualify.

What Success Looks Like

  • The team receives a steady stream of beautiful, useful iPhone photos and video every week.
  • Important property experiences and founder moments are consistently captured.
  • Content feels authentic and emotionally engaging while reflecting BOLT FARM’s standards.
  • Guests and founders enjoy working with you and feel comfortable on camera.
  • Footage is uploaded, organized, and ready for editors to use without unnecessary delays.
  • You bring initiative and fresh ideas while reliably covering the agreed capture plan.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • An extraordinary place to create. Mountain views, distinctive accommodations, real experiences, and stories unfolding around you.
  • Direct access to the founders. Work closely with Seth and Tori and capture the journey from the inside.
  • A platform for your work. Contribute to an established brand with an engaged audience.
  • Room to grow. Develop your eye, storytelling skills, and portfolio with feedback from an experienced creative team.
  • More creating, less chasing gigs. Focus on making great content with a consistent team and a clear mission.

Candidate Creative Challenge

Selected applicants will move through a creative challenge and an interview. Finalists will be invited to BOLT FARM for paid test work.

Equal Opportunity Employer
