At Cornerstone Wireless LLC, we are committed to delivering operational excellence across every branch of our transportation network. As we continue to expand and strengthen our nationwide operations, we are seeking an experienced leader who can drive performance, elevate service quality, and guide our teams toward long‑term success.

The Senior Trucking Operations Manager will oversee multi‑branch teams, develop high‑impact transportation strategies, and manage financial performance to ensure efficient, cost‑effective operations. This role is central to shaping our operational direction, optimizing resources, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Join Cornerstone Wireless to lead a dynamic organization, influence strategic decision‑making, and play a key role in advancing our mission of safe, reliable, and customer‑focused transportation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate a team of drayage drivers and support staff, managing daily assignments, schedules, and workload distribution to meet customer service level agreements.
  • Oversee container pickup and delivery operations between intermodal rail ramps (e.g., Norfolk Southern, CSX), the Port of Savannah, and customer facilities
  • Monitor driver performance, hours of service (HOS) compliance, and safety records; conduct coaching, corrective action, and performance reviews as needed.
  • Partner with dispatch to optimize load planning, minimize empty miles and detention time, and resolve service disruptions in real time.
  • Track and report on key operational metrics including on-time performance, turn times, chassis utilization, and per-load profitability.
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for driver issues, equipment breakdowns, customer complaints, and delivery exceptions.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies; support ongoing safety training and incident investigation.
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new drayage drivers.
  • Design and execute strategic plans that align with both operational and financial objectives, driving long-term success.
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget, closely monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Oversee profit and loss management, providing detailed financial reports and insights to upper management for informed decision-making.
  • Supervise, mentor, and assess employee performance, fostering a culture of growth and accountability.
  • Prepare and present regular operational reports to senior leadership.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation management, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong working knowledge of drayage/intermodal processes, including port and rail ramp operations, chassis pools, and container tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with FMCSA/DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements.
  • Experience with TMS (transportation management systems) and dispatch software.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold a team accountable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills, both with drivers on the ground and with customers/leadership.
  • Bilingual in English and Korean
