Requisition #: 1357

Job Title: Senior Solutions Architect

Salary Range: $180,000 - $200,000/year

Employment Status: Full Time

Type of Schedule: Full time 40hrs/week

Position Summary

Agile Defense is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead the technical development and writing of competitive Federal proposals supporting DoD and Federal Civilian customers.

This role is intended for professionals who have personally contributed to written proposal responses. The ideal candidate will combine hands‑on experience providing consultative guidance and support for mission‑focused technical solutions, including Federal proposal deliverables such as RFP/RFI responses, white papers, technical volumes, and solution narratives.

Note: This is not a hands-on software engineering or post‑award delivery role.

Key Responsibilities

Proposal Development & Technical Writing (Primary Focus)

  • Lead and develop technical content for Federal and DoD proposal responses.
  • Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, technical volumes, white papers, solution narratives, CONOPS, and other capture deliverables.
  • Translate customer requirements into compliant, compelling, and differentiated technical solutions.
  • Lead technical solution development from early capture through submission.
  • Participate in Pink/Red Team reviews and incorporate feedback.

Solutioning & Capture Support

  • Develop AI, data, cloud, and emerging technology solutions aligned with Federal mission needs.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Capture, Proposal teams, SMEs, and leadership.
  • Support customer discussions, solutioning sessions, Industry Days, and oral presentations.

Required Experience

Candidates must demonstrate both of the following:

  • Solution narratives
  • CONOPS
  • Ability to drive a technical solution from requirements through review and submission.

1. Federal Solution Experience

  • Experience developing or architecting AI, advanced analytics, data, or cloud solutions for Federal or DoD customers.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into mission‑focused solutions and persuasive written content.

Critical Qualification

Candidates must have personally developed and written Federal proposal deliverables. Experience limited to sales support, technical SME input, or engineering alone—without owning written proposal content—is not sufficient.
