  • Serve as a trusted advisor to media clients, supporting digital transformation, cloud migration, and technology modernization initiatives.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and technologies aligned to client use cases and industry best practices.
  • Oversee and review system architecture documentation, data flow diagrams, and interface specifications.
  • Guide technical delivery teams and partner vendors, ensuring successful execution of designs and alignment to architecture principles.
  • Participate in pre-sales engagements, contributing to RFP responses, client pitches, and solution estimations.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven expertise in broadcast workflows, including playout, signal chain, live production, and newsroom integration.
  • Deep knowledge of media formats (e.g., IMF, MXF, ProRes, XDCAM, HLS, MPEG-DASH, JPEG2000) and codec standards.
  • Experience designing file-based and live workflows across ingest, QC, metadata management, versioning, and delivery.
  • Strong understanding of key M&E technologies:

  • Proficiency with workflow modeling and tools such as BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart, or UML.
  • Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex technical conversations with both engineers and business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, consulting environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Thought leadership and passion for emerging trends in media technology.

Preferred

  • Experience working with or consulting for broadcasters, studios, or large media platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with production environments including Newsroom Computer Systems (NRCS), studio automation, or live control rooms.
  • Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional) or relevant cloud certifications.
