About the role

NFQ is a core technology partner for HomeToGo – a dedicated team of software engineers and data science professionals driving innovation to power a marketplace with the world’s largest selection of vacation rentals. We are expanding HomeToGo’s technology teams in Lithuania and Poland and are looking for the brightest talents to join the company.

HomeToGo is the SaaS-enabled marketplace with the world's largest selection of vacation rentals, listing millions of offers from thousands of trusted partners, including Booking.com, Vrbo and TripAdvisor. From vacation homes, cabins, beach houses, apartments, condos, house boats, castles, farm stays and everything in between, HomeToGo combines price, destination, dates and amenities to find the perfect accommodation for any trip worldwide.

Founded in 2014, HomeToGo operates localized apps and websites in more than 30 countries across Europe, North America, South America, Australia, and Asia-Pacific. HomeToGo Group includes brands such as Agriturismo.it, AMIVAC, Interhome, Smoobu, Casamundo, EscapadaRural, Kurzurlaub, Tripping.com, Wimdu, and others.

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer (PHP) to join our Distribution team, which connects thousands of HomeToGo's partners to our marketplace through a wide range of channels: White Labels, APIs, tailored integrations and more. Your work will span from building in house tooling that helps individual travel agents find the best vacation rentals for their customers, to designing integration systems for industry leaders such as Google, TUI, Amadeus or Lidl.

You'll join a team of experienced engineers driving initiatives with global impact. We value independence, teamwork, honesty and the drive to keep growing. You'll work across a mix of systems, from greenfield microservices to mature monoliths, all actively developed and maintained. Engineers take part in the full product life cycle and have real influence on where our products go next.

In this role, you will

  • Take end-to-end ownership of the features you deliver, from refinement to production
  • Design and build entire applications, working closely with our architects
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements, plan milestones and refine features based on measured performance
  • Choose the right technologies, guided by data and experience
  • Build AI-driven solutions and integrations, going beyond using AI tools day to day
  • Help build new distribution channels for our marketplace
  • Contribute to technical and architectural standards across the company
  • Mentor teammates and take part in hiring
  • Work with a broad stack including PHP, SQL databases, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, SQS, Kubernetes and AWS

What you will bring

  • At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Deep expertise in PHP and Symfony
  • Experience building scalable, distributed systems
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases
  • Experience designing APIs and integrating with third-party systems
  • Hands-on experience with LLM-based tools, both as a user and as an engineer building AI-driven solutions
  • Comfort working directly with business stakeholders
  • Professional working proficiency in English
  • A habit of continuous learning and a team-player mindset

What we offer

  • Growth and development opportunities. Build your career with support from an international and experienced team. We offer mentoring, regular feedback through our 360° feedback process, performance evaluations, and opportunities to grow professionally
  • A culture where you can make an impact. Join a workplace built on trust, empowerment, recognition, and autonomy. We share company goals transparently every quarter and encourage everyone to contribute ideas and take ownership
  • A supportive and international environment. Become part of a diverse team of 30+ nationalities, where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mutual support are part of everyday life. We value work-life balance and create an environment where people can thrive
  • A great benefits package. We offer a competitive salary, health insurance, additional days off, flexible working hours, employee-led workshops, office perks, regular team-building activities and company events

Salary range

131 - 179 PLN/h + VAT (B2B)

18 260 - 24 900 PLN gross (Permanent)
