Senior Social Worker Support and Safeguarding

Salary ranges from £43,158 to £45,204.
Key Duties Will Include
As a social worker within Safeguarding service, you will be responsible for privileging the best interests of children and young people, which must be based on best evidence and good practice.
- Complex caseload including undertaking assessments, visiting children and their families, interventions and reviewing the work taken.
- Work using Signs of Safety model, within the policies and procedures of Children’s Services and regulatory standards.
- Provide mentoring and share knowledge to support junior colleagues.
About You
- Degree in Social Work and Social Work England (SWE) registration.
- Extensive post-qualification experience in children and families social work- ideally in a statutory setting.
- Must have awareness of the legislative framework.
- Ability to work in a cohesive and supportive environment.
- Full driving license required.
