About the role

Hinge is the dating app designed to be deleted

In today's digital world, finding genuine relationships is tougher than ever. At Hinge, we’re on a mission to inspire intimate connection to create a less lonely world. We’re obsessed with understanding our users’ behaviors to help them find love, and our success is defined by one simple metric– setting up great dates. With millions of users across the globe, we’ve become the most trusted way to find a relationship, for all.

About the Role

Hinge is hiring a Senior Research Operations Program Manager to scale our research infrastructure and support high-impact insights across the company. In this role, you’ll lead and evolve operational systems across in-person research, tooling, knowledge management, and research impact. You’ll take on complex, high-visibility projects and make sure researchers have the people, partners, and resources they need to get insights on time. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Legal, IT, and senior researchers to enable rigorous, inclusive, and forward-looking research.

Responsibilities

  • Source and coordinate research participants through recruitment, community organizations, and via internal and external networks.
  • Lead the coordination of in-person research including facilities, staffing, and compliance.
  • Manage research impact programs like demo days, insight share-outs, and roadmapping workflows.
  • Partner with Legal, Safety, and IT to ensure secure and ethical data and tooling practices.
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with vendors that support research scale and innovation.
  • Set researchers up for success by removing operational blockers so they can focus on insight and synthesis.
  • Take a critical eye to where AI and new tools or methods can meaningfully improve how research gets done, from planning and recruitment to synthesis and knowledge sharing.
  • Design systems and operating models that make it easy for insights to be shared and found where they matter, across teams and studies.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in research ops, program management, or scaled operations in a tech environment.
  • Proven track record of building operational systems that support growing teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leveraging innovative tools and technology (e.g., generative AI) to scale operational effectiveness.
  • Champions team culture in authentic, courageous, and empathic ways
  • Product mindset, with an understanding of how research informs product decisions and moves at the pace of product teams.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to move quickly on complex, ambiguous projects.
  • Familiarity with the product development lifecycle and how research fits into it.
