About the role

Higgsfield AI is seeking a Senior PR Manager, Financial Communications to help shape how the financial community understands our business, corporate strategy, investment thesis, and competitive positioning.

This role will sit within Communications and work closely with Investor Relations, Corp Dev, Legal, and executive leadership. You will translate business priorities and investor questions into clear external narratives, build trusted relationships with business and financial press, and create meaningful coverage opportunities around the company’s growth, market position, and financial milestones.

This is a hands-on media relations role for someone who understands how financial and business reporters think, enjoys building relationships with press, and can operate effectively in a fast-moving technology environment.

What you'll do

  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with business and financial press, generate coverage opportunities, and manage day-to-day media relations.
  • Translate investor and business priorities into external communications that help address gaps in market understanding and reinforce Higgsfield’s strengths.
  • Generate executive media and positioning opportunities and support preparation for media and external engagements, including briefing materials, talking points, Q&As, prepared remarks, and amplification plans.
  • Partner closely with Investor Relations, Corp Dev, Communications, Legal, and executive leadership on major financial and corporate announcements.
  • Help shape storytelling around Higgsfield’s expanding market opportunity and long-term growth potential.
  • Advise on high-stakes media situations, including sensitive financial stories, leaks, and fast-moving press inquiries.
  • Stay close to business and financial reporters and understand what matters to them before bringing opportunities to executives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, financial communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS or technology company.
  • Previous experience at a leading financial or corporate communications agency
  • Strong experience working directly with business and financial press.
  • Demonstrated experience developing corporate or financial narratives and translating complex business topics into clear external messaging.
  • Experience working in-house at a technology company, ideally with exposure to a publicly traded company or similarly sophisticated financial communications environment.
  • Strong media relations skills and a track record of building trusted reporter relationships.
  • Experience supporting executives in high-stakes media or external engagements.
  • Strong judgment and the ability to operate effectively around sensitive or fast-moving company news.
  • Excellent writing, messaging, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including experience partnering with Investor Relations, Finance, Legal, or executive teams.
  • Must be based in San Francisco and comfortable with a highly hands-on, relationship-driven approach to media.

Compensation & Benefits

  • We offer a competitive and thoughtfully structured compensation package designed to align with impact, experience, and long-term growth.
  • Base Salary: The anticipated salary range for this role is $180,000 - $210,000, depending on experience, skills, scope, and location.
  • Bonus: This role is Bonus eligible and may participate in the Company's discretionary annual bonus program.
  • Equity: In addition to cash compensation, employees are eligible to participate in the company’s stock option program and share in Higgsfield AI’s long-term growth.
  • Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees professionally and personally, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a competitive 401(k) retirement plan with company matching, and additional benefits and perks.
  • The opportunity to work on ambitious AI products alongside a highly experienced, fast-moving, and international team.
  • Significant ownership, direct impact, and opportunities for professional growth as the company scales.

This is a hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Team members are expected to work from our San Francisco office three full days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely and are expected to be available during agreed working hours and to maintain sufficient overlap with the relevant team’s time zone.
