About the role

About Tin Can

Tin Can is building a safer, simpler way for kids to connect — without smartphones. We're creating screen-free, delightful devices and services that let families call the people who matter most, free from the noise of today's digital world.

We're building a bold, authentic, nostalgic, and kinda quirky brand that resonates with folks who want something simpler & better for their kids than the tech-infused lives we're currently living (and who have a sense of humor about it).

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own how Tin Can reaches families through outside partners: distribution partners, brand collaborations, and new markets. You’ll help usher in lots of ways for a family to meet Tin Can, and it’s crucial each one feels like us.

This role is part doing and part systems thinking. One day you'll map out everything a partner's checkout, packaging, and tracking need to work together, and the next you'll help turn a big brand moment into a story that ends in families bringing a Tin Can home. You don't have to be the most creative person in the room, but you have great taste, you know something's right the moment you see it, and you're a doer who makes things happen no matter what it takes. You'll report to the Head of Product and work closely with the Growth team, Brand, Growth Marketing, and Engineering. You say yes more than no, but when you say no, it comes with a better idea.

What You'll Do

  • Own the products and programs that bring families to Tin Can through outside partners, from first idea to launch
  • Bring brand campaigns and experiences to life with partners, on and off the screen, from concept through execution
  • Build the systems and tools that make each new partner faster to set up than the last
  • Be a partner to Brand and Growth, shaping ambitious ideas with them, not just executing on their behalf
  • Set up the measurement to see which efforts are working and what’s worth doing again
  • Align Creative, Growth, and Engineering on what's next, stitching dreams into reality
  • Get scrappy when the job calls for it — whatever it takes to make something real

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in growth or partnerships; bonus points for work with a brand that gets it
  • You get ish done, rallying diverse groups, finding resources, keeping everyone on track
  • Crystal clear communication, from prank call campaigns to attribution pipelines
  • A systems thinker with technical and data fluency; you get numbers and understand scaling
  • Experience collaborating with designers, creatives, supply chain, and outside partners
  • Excellent visual taste; you know something's great the moment you see it (we call it razzle-dazzle) (jk, nobody actually calls it that)
  • Fluency using AI as a multiplier in your work; this is how we work, not a nice-to-have
  • Ownership mindset — you're a PM, but also a "call everywhere in Seattle to estimate sticker cost"-er when it counts
  • Low ego, high enthusiasm — you cheer as loud for someone else's idea as your own

Why Join Tin Can

  • We're building tech that protects childhood: We're on a quest to give kids a more analog childhood — one with real conversations, real connection, and way less screen time. This is a rare opportunity to build something that truly matters.
  • You'll turn pie-in-the-sky into real life: Brand and partnerships are where some of our wildest ideas get made real, and you'll be the one making it happen, with real ownership over how you get there.
  • Small, high-trust team: Every company says "team," but at Tin Can it means something different. We're a small, mission-driven group that genuinely has each other's backs — professionally and personally. You'll be joining a tight-knit crew where your ideas and instincts matter from day one.
  • Room to explore, not just execute: You'll have the space to explore new ideas, challenge assumptions, and shape a product experience that reflects our values of trust, simplicity, and care.

If you're excited by the idea of turning a wild idea into something kids actually beg for, please reach out. We can't wait to meet someone who's ready to jump in, make things happen, and help us grow.
