Our flagship product, Phoenix Perpetuals, brings professional-grade perpetual futures to Solana. Phoenix has processed over $4 billion in trading volume and is growing 20% month over month, adding to the more than $300 billion our products have facilitated to date. Behind Phoenix is a lean, high-caliber team with experience at top trading firms, blockchain companies, and tech companies.

The Opportunity

Ellipsis Labs is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will:

  • Spec, build, and maintain professional-grade applications
  • Drive ambitious product initiatives (which may include entirely new product lines) from inception to completion: specification, architecture, implementation, testing, monitoring, and maintenance

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of experience building user-facing software products with high quality and well-documented production code
  • Experience building great UX with modern frontend frameworks, specifically React + TypeScript
  • Ability to work across the product engineering stack
  • Ability to make informed product decisions based on relevant business context
  • Deep respect and empathy for users
  • A demonstrated track record of high agency, willingness to dive into unfamiliar technical and non-technical areas, and a team-first attitude
  • Passion for decentralized finance

Preferred

  • Experience working with blockchain technology, specifically Solana
  • Interest in quant trading or fintech
  • Product design or product management experience
