  • Organize, analyze and consolidate financial data for program acquisition planning, reviews and reporting, and maintain historical budget tracking.
  • Review and build portfolio briefs and prepare senior leaders for portfolio reviews.
  • Advise leadership on Congressional add funding and Congressional language based on direct experience.
  • Resolve resourcing issues and present solutions to senior leaders through what-if drills, briefings, issue papers, resource reallocation options and analyses of alternatives.
  • Research and develop products, with Government oversight, that defend the budget and spend plans to internal and external audiences.
  • Mentor junior analysts and help standardize PPBE products and processes across the directorate.

Minimum Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Active DoD SECRET clearance (must be active at start).
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, engineering or a related field and 8+ years of Army or DoD PPBE, budget or program analysis experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

  • Experience preparing budget justification, spend plans or issue papers for senior leaders.
  • Advanced Excel and financial data analysis skills.
  • Clear, concise briefing and writing skills for general officer and SES audiences.

Preferred Qualifications
