About the role

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Senior Occupational Therapist to join its client’s Reablement Team, based within the London Borough of Hackney.

This Senior OT role supports Hackney’s continued shift towards a reablement‑first approach, promoting independence, reducing long‑term care dependency, and improving outcomes for local residents.

The Reablement at Home service is a short‑term, therapy‑led intervention (typically lasting up to six weeks), supporting individuals to regain skills and confidence following hospital discharge.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver therapy‑led reablement interventions
  • Lead on person‑centred, goal‑focused reablement plans
  • Support hospital discharge pathways
  • Promote a “doing with” rather than “doing for” approach
  • Enable independence, autonomy and wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with health, social care and community partners

Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • HCPC‑registered Occupational Therapist
  • Strong experience in reablement or discharge pathways
