Residents enjoy a friendly close-knit community supported by quality healthcare services, schools, shopping, sporting facilities and essential amenities, while having easy access to some of Far North Queensland's most remarkable outdoor experiences. From fishing, boating and camping to hiking, four-wheel driving, birdwatching and exploring the region's waterfalls, reefs and national parks, Cooktown offers a rewarding lifestyle where work-life balance and natural beauty go hand in hand.
