We are seeking a senior, hands-on systems engineer to deliver enterprise infrastructure solutions across cloud modernization, infrastructure automation, identity integration, virtualization, and container-based initiatives. The engineer will work across multiple project streams, translate technical discussions into executable work, follow established standards, and operate independently in a fast-moving environment. The role is based in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area and requires on-site participation approximately two to three days per week, particularly for project meetings and team planning.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver systems engineering work across enterprise infrastructure, cloud, identity, virtualization, automation, and related project initiatives.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform for production infrastructure provisioning and automation.
  • Support Azure modernization and other cloud infrastructure efforts.
  • Implement and support single sign-on (SSO), identity integrations, and application onboarding.
  • Contribute to container-based infrastructure projects and other evolving enterprise priorities.
  • Participate in project meetings and convert technical discussions into clear, actionable implementation tasks.
  • Troubleshoot complex systems issues across server, storage, networking, desktop, cloud, and virtualization environments.
  • Document solutions and follow established naming conventions, configuration standards, and implementation practices.
  • Collaborate with engineers, share ownership of team priorities, and adapt as project needs change.
  • Complete assigned work independently with limited day-to-day supervision.

Qualifications

  • Senior-level experience in systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, systems integration, or a comparable enterprise IT role.
  • Hands-on Terraform experience delivering production infrastructure provisioning or automation.
  • Experience implementing, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise systems across multiple infrastructure domains.
  • Cloud infrastructure experience with Microsoft Azure or a comparable platform.
  • Experience with SSO, identity integration, Okta, or application onboarding.
  • Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or comparable virtualization technology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain personal technical contributions clearly.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, documentation practices, and adherence to technical standards.
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly, manage changing priorities, and work across multiple project types.
  • Ability to work in or regularly travel to the Tulsa office approximately two to three days per week. Tools and Technologies:
  • Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Okta, SSO, and identity integration
  • Puppet, Packer, and Ansible
  • VMware and Hyper-V
  • Container-based infrastructure
  • Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, servers, storage, and networking
