About the role

About Fora

Fora is the modern travel agency, empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs to build thriving travel advisory businesses. We're modernizing the $100B+ travel industry with AI woven through every part of the advisor's workflow, plus global supplier relationships, personalized training, and a vibrant community, all in one place. That's what lets advisors build businesses that scale, while their taste and service create trips no algorithm alone could plan. At the heart of it all is our mission: to help the next generation of travel entrepreneurs turn their love for travel into a fulfilling career, whether full-time or part-time.

We're mission-driven and obsessed with our customers, and we believe humans and AI are both essential: the best work here comes from people and technology at their best, together. That's not just a philosophy about our product, it's how we build our team. Everyone at Fora gets hands-on with frontier AI tooling as part of the job. At Fora, you'll learn to be AI-fluent, with real experience applying AI to solve problems day to day, wherever you sit in the company.

Founded in 2021, Fora has grown to a team of 250+ full-time employees based in downtown New York City. In 2026, we closed a $60 million Series D led by Forerunner and Tactile Ventures, with continued backing from Thrive Capital, Insight Partners, and Heartcore Capital. We've been named a LinkedIn Top Startup (2024), one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies (2023 and 2025), and one of TIME's 100 Most Influential Companies (2026).

Come build something that hasn't existed before.

About The Role

Most of Fora's advisor acquisition comes from Meta and Google today. Our next stage of growth will come from channels we haven't found or scaled yet. You'll help find them. For the channels you own, there's no playbook. You'll write it. Advisor acquisition is the starting focus. As you prove out wins, the role can expand into other growth areas across the business.

This is a player-coach role. You'll shape acquisition strategy with our growth leadership team, then run with it for the channels you own: launch the tests yourself, read the results, and decide what to scale, fix, or kill. Then you'll do it again, faster. We goal on advisors who go on to book meaningful, repeat travel, not on raw signups.

Experimentation is in your DNA. Every idea is a hypothesis, every launch is a test, and every result makes the next test better. You're never satisfied with the status quo, including your own last win.

You'll partner with Data, Creative, Product, and Site & Conversion. Most of them won't report to you, so this role runs on clarity, data, and a strong point of view. You'll be the go-to expert on experimentation and work directly with senior leaders. AI is core to how you work: you'll use it to research, build creative, analyze results, and automate the work that slows the team down.

Fora is growing fast, and growing our advisor base is one of the company's top priorities. If you're a self-starter who wants to move fast and grow your career, there's a lot of room to grow here. As the work outgrows one person, you'll help shape and build the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape the strategy, then own your part of it. Bring a strong point of view to acquisition strategy alongside growth leadership. Own the roadmap for your channels, partnerships, and growth bets: what to test first, how much to invest, and when to scale.
  • Launch it yourself. Get hands-on with the campaigns, briefs, budgets, and platforms. Take channels from first test to sustained investment.
  • Run the experimentation engine. Every test has a hypothesis, success metrics, a decision date, and predefined criteria to scale, iterate, or kill. Increase test velocity every quarter.
  • Prove incrementality. Partner with Data on holdouts, geo tests, and matched-market tests. Make investment calls on incremental impact, LTV, and CAC, not platform attribution.
  • Iterate on creative, offers, and landing pages. Partner with Creative and Site & Conversion to test channel-specific assets, offers, and pages. Own the test plan, the read, and the recommendation.
  • Run the operating cadence. Own daily pacing, weekly scorecards, and monthly cohort and channel reviews. Bring a clear point of view on what to do next.
  • Build with AI. Build and run agents and automations for reporting, research, creative analysis, and performance monitoring that stay in use.
  • Raise the bar. Define the testing best practices the team follows and be the go-to expert on experimentation. Mentor others and direct the work of partners and agencies. Help shape the team and the role's scope as the work grows

Requirements

  • 8+ years in growth or performance marketing at a consumer, marketplace, or technology company
  • Has owned acquisition strategy for a channel or portfolio, not just execution, and set its budget and goals
  • Has taken at least one new acquisition channel from first test to scaled, sustained investment
  • Has built and run a structured experimentation program, and can walk us through specific tests: the hypothesis, the result, and what changed because of it
  • Has designed or run incrementality tests (holdouts, geo, or matched market)
  • Has owned or reported on CAC, LTV, and ROAS for a funnel, and optimized for quality over volume
  • Can name the AI tools in your current workflow and an agent or automation you built that is still in use
  • Has coached or mentored other marketers, or set the standards a team works to
  • Has led high-visibility, cross-functional initiatives and influenced senior leaders without direct authority
  • Moves fast and works independently in ambiguous, fast-changing environments

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience acquiring supply-side participants (partners, creators, sellers, or affiliates) in a two-sided marketplace
  • Experience across offline or non-traditional channels (podcast, OOH, affiliate, creator, partnerships)
  • Experience bringing work in-house from agencies
  • Experience at a high-growth startup through a period of rapid scale

Compensation

Compensation for this role varies based on experience, with an indicative range of $165K–$205K base salary + equity.

  • Unlimited vacation
  • Health Insurance (including an option completely covered by Fora HQ)
  • Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Wellhub Memberships
  • 401k plan with company match
  • Commuter Benefits
  • Supplemental Life Insurance
  • Stock Options
