The company combines research, analytics, software engineering, and AI-driven solutions to deliver actionable insights, support strategic decision-making, and drive innovation.
Job Summary
The project focuses on developing, enhancing, and maintaining the client's product portfolio, including modern web applications, backend services, data-intensive systems, and AI-enabled workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, enhance, and maintain features across the client's product portfolio.
- Build and support modern frontend applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Develop and integrate backend services, RESTful APIs, and data-driven applications.
- Work with relational databases and SQL to support product functionality and data-intensive systems.
- Use AI tools as part of daily software development, including coding, testing, debugging, and optimization.
- Review and validate AI-generated code to ensure quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, research, design, data, and QA teams to define and implement practical technical solutions.
- Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and API tests.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, CI/CD workflows, and production readiness activities.
- Contribute to scalable data visualization experiences and continuously improve engineering practices.
- Ensure software is secure, observable, maintainable, and aligned with product and business priorities.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience developing production software using Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or another modern backend language.
- 1+ years of professional experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- 1+ years of professional experience building applications with React.
- 3+ years of experience writing SQL and working with relational databases.
- Practical experience using AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle, including code generation, testing, debugging, and optimization.
- Ability to evaluate AI-generated output and identify potential quality, security, and data governance risks.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including software design, data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver reliable production software.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with Java with Spring / Spring Boot.
- C#/.NET, ASP.NET, WCF, or Oracle.
- Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and API testing.
- Experience with CI/CD and production deployment practices.
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS
- Snowflake or BigQuery.
- Experience with legacy application modernization.
- Experience with data-intensive applications, analytics, visualization, and AI-enabled products.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
