Based in Phoenix, you'll collaborate with global engineering teams to shape the future of semiconductor equipment connectivity, visualization, and automation.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform applications using C# and .NET MAUI for equipment monitoring, configuration, and factory automation workflows
  • Build user interfaces and application frameworks following MVVM architecture patterns to create scalable, maintainable software solutions
  • Develop factory automation features and equipment integration capabilities, including:
  • Remote command execution
  • Host-driven FOUP handling and workflow integration
  • Recipe management from host systems
  • Factory Automation (FA) ID management
  • Design and implement communication services using gRPC and other modern service frameworks to support real-time equipment and factory interactions
  • Collaborate with controls, automation, and device software teams to integrate factory automation functionality throughout the software stack
  • Develop software interfaces supporting semiconductor industry standards including SECS/GEM, GEM300, and EDA/Interface A
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to factory automation, equipment connectivity, and application performance in both development and production environments
  • Partner with customer station controller and factory integration teams to ensure reliable host-to-equipment communication
  • Support system validation, testing, and on-tool debugging activities as needed\

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • Strong programming experience in C# and the .NET ecosystem
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Experience developing desktop or cross-platform applications using .NET MAUI, WPF, WinUI, or related UI technologies
  • Hands-on experience implementing MVVM architectural patterns
  • Experience designing and consuming APIs, services, and messaging frameworks
  • Experience with gRPC or other modern communication technologies
  • Experience in semiconductor equipment, manufacturing automation, industrial software, or a related engineering environment
  • Familiarity with semiconductor factory automation standards, including:
  • SECS/GEM
  • GEM300
  • EDA / Interface A
  • Experience working with Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS)
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and distributed systems

What Sets You Apart

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience developing enterprise or industrial applications
  • Deep expertise in .NET MAUI application development
  • Experience building responsive, data-rich operator interfaces for industrial or manufacturing systems
  • Experience integrating software with semiconductor manufacturing equipment and factory automation platforms
  • Strong problem-solving skills in complex distributed systems
  • Experience optimizing application performance, memory usage, and reliability
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development practices
  • Experience working in cross-functional, customer-facing, and globally distributed engineering teams
