About Lumilens

At Lumilens, we are building the critical photonics infrastructure that powers tomorrow’s AI supercomputing. From chip-to-chip optical interconnects to scalable photonic engines, Lumilens is unlocking a new era of computing—faster, cooler, and massively more efficient. Join our collaborative team to help shape the future of high-speed optical connectivity.

Position Overview

We are seeking a mid-senior level Embedded Firmware Engineer with 10-12 years of experience in networking and semiconductor domains, ideally with an optical background. The successful candidate will have hands-on development and design experience on 32-bit microcontrollers, preferably with ARM-based architectures, and will contribute to the creation and delivery of advanced embedded solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Independently drive firmware design, development, and feature delivery for high-performance networking and optical semiconductor products
  • Develop and maintain device drivers, real-time operating systems (RTOS) integration, and communication protocol implementations
  • Design, code, test, and debug embedded firmware primarily in C for ARM-based controllers
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including hardware, DSP, and software engineers
  • Manage, configure, and optimize build environments and makefiles
  • Contribute to design reviews, feature definition, and product delivery schedules

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 10-12 years of experience developing embedded firmware on 32-bit microcontrollers, preferably ARM architecture
  • Strong knowledge of C programming, RTOS, device driver development, and communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet)
  • Experience in networking and semiconductor industries, ideally with exposure to optical technologies
  • Solid understanding of DSP concepts and implementations
  • Good knowledge of build environments and makefile management
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage tasks, drive designs, and deliver features
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Why Join Lumilens?

  • Work at the forefront of AI, networking, and optical semiconductor technology
  • Collaborative and innovative environment
  • Opportunities for career growth
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package
